Gabriele Giofre


Business Development Manager


Gabriele Giofre has extensive experience across the Telecommunications and Communications industry. He has worked as an Industry Manager in the development of qualifications and units of competency within the ICT Information and Communications Technology Training Package and their previous versions. Gabriele brings to the team his experience from his extensive work with the Department of Education, Employment and Training (Manager Student Assistance and Programs), IBSA Industry Skills Council (ICT Industry Manager) and NBN (Workforce Development Team).

 

At NBN Co his role as the Senior Advisor Workforce Development Programs ensured he was influential in developing workforce capabilities for the NBN rollout on a National level. Over the years he has worked as a consultant on many projects with Telecommunications companies such as Optus, Telstra and TPG. Many of these activities have included the use of Qualifications and Skill Sets to train and upskill workers.

Experience:  28 years with Telstra, from Technician in Training (TIT) to Optical Fibre Cable Design Engineer P3, National Office.

TEAM TTS

The team at TTS has over 80 years’ experience in Telecommunications and have partnerships that support their ability to provide a diverse range of services to industry. We have a strong group of alliances and partners being progressively established throughout Australia.  TTS  provides a strong alternative to the current training and services provided by existing organisations by delivering quality training and assessment that incorporates theory with a good practical “hands on approach” to ensure high end telecommunications outcomes. Our experience has highlighted a need for developed practical skills that provide the learner completing courses, with a solid understanding of the actual tasks required to become a valuable asset to a company and the telecommunications industry.

 

Enhanced practical understanding will provide good workmanship in the field with the benefits flowing to contract companies through work being correctly completed on the first attempt. Training will be balanced with theory and a maximum of real experience that may include training in the field.
